General Rules
Game Rules1. Single motor category robots may use only one set of motor-gear box.
2. Multi-motor category robots may use over two sets of motor-gear boxes, but only two sets of them for the walking actions.
3. All contestants should wear uniform during the competition.
4. Name list of the student contestants should not be altered without the Organizer’s permission. 5. Contestants not accompanied by their teachers are not allowed to take part in the competition.
6. Instructors or teachers cannot enter the restriction area to command students to play the game.
7. Judge has the right to give warning or disqualify the contestants or teachers who do not obey the rules or the decision of judge.

Robot Rules1. All participating robots may only move with walking actions except the worm robot.
2. Except for the servo motor robot group, all participating robots must use Tamiya70093 gear box (203.7:1, 58.2:1, 16.6:1) and its matching motor for competition. The gear ratio may only be adjusted in accordance to the manufacturer’s instructions. Contestants should not modify the motor or the gear box in any way.
3. Except for the servo motor robot group, the rotor internal resistance of all motors must be higher than 0.85Ω and pass the rotor resistance check.
4. The weight of the robot means the total weight including all accessories and parts.
5. Participating robots must comply with the dimensions, weights and specific requirements set by the Organizer.
6. All robots cannot add on control devices not certified by the Organizer. All wireless installations must be able to alter frequency channels. Transmitters found interfering must immediately change channel or would be disqualified for the competition. All approved models of electronic controller accessories, wireless installations and their suppliers would be announced on the website.
7. The mechanical parts must be constructed by the student contestants from raw materials except for screws, nuts, rings and gear boxes. Ready-made models or toys cannot be used for mechanical parts. No more than 30% decorative accessories should be ready-made subassemblies.
8. The wired manul controller of Soccer and Basketball robot must only be supplied by not more than six pcs. 1.5V 2A size batteries. No additional energy installment can be made.

Other Points to Note1. Except for the servo motor robot group, hand generators and batteries provided by the Organizer should only be used.
2. Registration number of the robot must be engraved or printed with permanent ink on its chassis.
3. The Organizer may sample check robots on their design any time after reporting arrival. Units found not meeting specifications would be disqualified for the competition.
4. The Organizer reserves the right to use all participating items for marketing and publicity purposes.
5. Violation of the above rules would lead to immediate disqualification of the competition result.
6. The Organizer reserves the right to modify the game rules and announce them on its website.

The Chicken Run Story

1. Jamson forgot to print the plate for souvenirs (until 9.30am) as Sunday & Monday are Public Holiday.
2. Khun Ice forgot to take his cash from warden.
3. Arriving a KLIA-LCCT on 2.30pm as the van cannot move more than 80kmh.
4. The AirAsia staff miss to check in KhunChelli eventhough 5 passports was there.
5. The Airplane model cannot be put on plane due to electronic devices.
6. KhunChelli have o pay MYR80.00 due to 1 minutes overdue to check-in.
7. Khun Ron only finished wrap the Wing without elecronic devices when suddenly black-out.
8. The Wrap-Operator brought the airplane body to wrap, but Khun O cannot find him.
9. KhunChelli just left the wrapped-wing beside the dustbin and went to departure hall.
10. Need to leave the "Halal" mineral waters on custom check.
11. Khun Ice was stopped by security because bringing knife in his bag-sack.
12. The Contender did not finished their airplane in R.C.S.A due to a lot of activities.
13. The Contender only have 10minutes to test-fly on competition day.
14. They losts the rubber band when their airplane first crashed. (rescued by Khun Huan)
15. Within 2minutes before competition starts, they forgot to install "Dropper".
16. The wings was burnt by soldering pen.
17. Khun O suddenly miss-charge the battery - Electronic was burnt.
18. Khun To keeps on remind them for 3 times to do something to their "Dropper".
19. The Contender airplane was crashed and the losts the time just to re-connect the "Dropper".
20. They missed in Semi-Final.
21. KhunChelli was brought his hand-wash liquid on board and was stopped by custom.

I would like to invite you and your students to visit the Radio Control Airplane Modeler Sport Association (R.C.S.A) where we are engaged in an exciting service-learning project. The R.C.S.A has similar objectives with the Ministry of Education ( KPM) and that is to encourage students to exchange ideas outside the classroom in the approach for academics. The R.C.S.A engages students not only for the technical knowledge about electronics, it encourages them to combine historic and modern day art to create distinguishable RC planes. Students become more interested in learning about aviation which encourages them to read more, further develop the ideas amongst schools and therefore decrease the involvement of youth in drugs and drug abuse.

May we suggest that you visit us around May 4th, 2011. This would give you and your students a close facilitate to build a balance and high performance plane besides an opportunity to see the initial program in action which will be held on the 6th of May before the main event in Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, Petchaburi, Bangkok, THAILAND. The R.C.S.A and Thai PBS TV station will sponsor free training of how to build your own RC plane to the general public. After the program, we would head out to Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, Petchaburi for the contest competing for His Majesty the King's Royal Trophy held from May 7th – 8th , 2011. It would be an honor for our Association to have you and your students join us as I think that this would be a wonderful opportunity for the students to meet and build a good relationship among them.
